RL Software Technologies Inc. completed the project for reconstruction of True OrthoPhoto Images for Z/I Imaging Corporation.
 

 

Z/I Imaging Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intergraph Corporation, is the world's largest company dedicated to the development and support of Earth Imaging tools. Z/I Imaging provides total end-to-end imaging solutions including aerial cameras, stereo softcopy workstations, photogrammetric scanners and open Microsoft Windows-based image management, processing, and distribution software.

Recovered Obscured Areas

 

Obscured areas are serious defects in large-scale and urban orthophotos. A new polygon-based approach for detection and recovery of such areas was developed by RL Software Technologies Inc. Proposed method allows easy integration of true ortho image reconstruction techniques with existing commercial image processing software from Z/I Imaging and spatial analysis tools from Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions.
